Yes, you must be 18 or older to attend the AFROTECH™ Conference. To accommodate our diverse community and their needs, AFROTECH has implemented a policy regarding the admission of infants to our events. Infants up to 18 months old are welcome to attend AFROTECH events accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must be present at all times. View our Infant Admission Policy here.
- Infant Admission: Infants up to 18 months old are welcome to attend AFROTECH events with a parent or legal guardian.
- Parental Supervision: Infants must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. The guardian is responsible for the child’s safety and well-being throughout the Event.
- Age Restriction: Aside from infants up to 18 months old, no individuals under the age of 18 will be permitted entry to AFROTECH events.
- Registration: Parents or guardians bringing an infant must register the child at the time of their own registration. This ensures we can accommodate all attendees appropriately.
- Nursing and Changing Areas: Designated areas will be available for nursing and changing infants to provide a comfortable environment for both parents and children.
- Event Disruptions: In consideration of all attendees, parents or guardians are kindly asked to step out of sessions or Event areas if their child becomes disruptive. We understand that children are not always quiet and to balance the needs of all attendees, you may be asked to temporarily step out of a meeting room if your child becomes disruptive.
- No Strollers: Strollers, push chairs or prams are not permitted in the meeting/conference rooms.
We take no responsibility for content deemed unsuitable for children which may be displayed during the Event sessions.
Attendees can create their professional profile and upload their resumé to the AFROTECH™ network after successfully registering for the conference. Talent Infusion, powered by AFROTECH™, connects you with networking and career opportunities at top companies across industries. Click here to submit.
In the past, we have invited students from around the world to apply for our AFROTECH Conference Scholarship. We have retired this program, and AFROTECH™ Student Scholarship will no longer be offered at this time.
